Cu Chi tunnels, known as the “iron triangle” during the Vietnam war, are a network of underground tunnels that were used as a military base for resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War. Cu Chi itself was once known as the “dead land” that was destroyed by millions of bombs. But today, the land is still alive and combines legendary historical structures with the unique culture of the Vietnamese

Mekong delta is known as “the rice bowl” of Vietnam, due to the seemingly endless fields of rice. In this water world, you will see houses and markets floating along the river. This is a fabulous destination for those who want to experience the humble beauty of the Mekong Delta, get closer to nature and meet the hospitable people of this region.

Itinerary

7:30am: The guide picks you up to go to Cu Chi Tunnel for one and half hours by mini van.

The peaceful rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers along the side of the road. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, when Cu Chi was “A Free Target Zone“. The remnants you will see that Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there. Ever wonder what it feels like to fire an AK-47? Visit Cu chi tunnels, you have a chance to find out!

Afternoon: We will depart from Cu Chi to My Tho city for two hours by car. On the way to My Tho, we’ll stop at a restaurant to have lunch.

Upon arrival at My Tho City, the boat takes you to a small canal, which is the place you totally escape from the busy town. The boat cruise in the coconut trees canal takes you to a coconut island in Ben Tre. We disembark and have a walk around the village. Stop at a local family to enjoy tropical fruit, taste honey tea, honey wine and listen to Vietnamese traditional music, performance by the villagers.

Continue walking on the village’s road to the coconut candy shop, learn how to make candy, and show some handicraft made by coconut trees. Take a walk through a village with two sides. There are so many kinds of fruits, flowers, trees, and local houses in the Mekong delta. Take your time to take nice photos and enjoy nature scenery.

The Retreat Experience

This program is a unique kind of “retreat” that goes beyond traditional wellness getaways. It’s a “mind-body-adventure” retreat designed for people who want to be active, push their limits, and deeply engage with their surroundings.

The “Active Reset”

  • Physical Challenge & Growth: This isn’t a passive vacation. Clients will be challenging themselves physically through a variety of martial arts and fitness classes. The experience is about more than just a workout; it’s about building discipline, confidence, and mental toughness. The INBODY scan and personalized fitness assessment add a structured, goal-oriented element, making it feel less like a holiday and more like a transformative experience.
  • Structured Wellness: With a schedule that includes two meals a day, daily classes, and a designated spa treatment, the program provides a framework for clients to hit “reset” on their health and wellness. The included water and a local host provide the support needed to stay on track.

The “Urban Immersion”

  • Authentic Local Life: The retreat is not in a secluded resort but in the heart of a bustling city. The guided motorbike tour is a cornerstone of this experience, allowing clients to see Saigon from a local’s perspective—smelling the food, hearing the sounds, and truly feeling the city’s pulse. This is a far cry from a sterile, resort-based retreat.
  • Cultural Connection: The program weaves in cultural experiences seamlessly. Clients will not just visit the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta, but they will be doing so after a week of being embedded in local life, which deepens their appreciation for Vietnam’s history and culture.

The “Nature Escape”

  • A Perfect Counterbalance: The weekend hiking trip is the ultimate retreat from the retreat. After a week of intense training and city life, clients are taken to the serene natural landscapes of Southern Vietnam. This contrast is a key part of the experience.
  • Mindful Disconnection: By camping and hiking in nature, clients are encouraged to disconnect from screens and reconnect with themselves and the environment. The choice between the “Nature Walking” and “Mountain Hiking” levels means everyone can have a meaningful, personal experience, whether they are a seasoned adventurer or a beginner seeking a peaceful escape.

In summary, this retreat experience is for traveller who:

  • Craves adventure and physical activity over passive relaxation.
  • Wants to experience a new culture from an immersive, not just observational, perspective.
  • Seeks a holistic mind-and-body reset that combines challenging workouts with rejuvenating nature.
  • Is looking for a unique, well-supported trip that provides both structure and freedom.
